Abstract
My show was inspired by the question "how would you describe the color green to a blind person?" I created a collection of charcoal portraits that serve as visual representations of words I would use to describe nine selected Pantone colors. Attached to the bottom of each portrait is a card with the name of the color that the portrait is depicting, the Pantone color code, a sample swatch of the color, and the list of descriptive words describing the portrait.
